      EdgarCounty is a county located in the central part of the state of Illinois.
            39.68° N, 87.75° W
As of 2000, the population was 19,704 and in 2010 the population was 18,576.
The county seat is Paris, Illinois.
Edgar County was formed out of Clark County in 1823 and was named for John Edgar.
      Champaign County has fifteen townships:
            Brouilletts Creek, Buck, Edgar, Elbridge, Embarrass, Grandview, Hunter, Kansas, Paris, Prairie, Ross, Shiloh, Stratton, Symmes, Young America
      Some of the cities, towns, villages and communities are :
